Sung Chun Park -
has won several major vocal contests recently including the Licia
Albanese - Puccini Foundation International Vocal Competition in
both 2000 and 2003 with performances in Alice Tully Hall in New
York, 1st Place in the Opera Index Vocal Competition in 2001. His
favorite roles and performances include Delmonte in Un Giorno di
Regno at Caramoor Opera Production, Fernando in Marino Faliero with
the Opera Orchestra of New York at Carnegie Hall conducted by Eve
Queller, Alfredo in La Traviata and Eisenstein in Die Fledermaus
with the Choral Society of the Hamptons, and Rodolfo in La Bohme
for the Mannes College of Music conducted by Joseph Calinari,
conductor at the Metropolitan Opera.

Tamara Mesic -
recently made her international
operatic debut with the Spoleto Festival Italy, as 'Lucy' in
a new production of Gian Carlo Menotti's The Telephone,
directed by the composer.
She has performed with many nationally recognized festivals
and orchestras. With the Aspen Music Festival, she performed both
the title role of Carlisle Floyd's Susannah under the supervision
of the composer and the baton of James Conlon, and 'Helena' in
Britten's A Midsummer Night's Dream with Robert Spano conducting.
As a soloist with the American Symphony at Avery Fisher Hall, she sang
the role of 'Semele' in Strauss' Die Liebe der Danae conducted by
Leon Botstein, and returned most recently as Dienerin I in the
orchestra's performance of Strauss' Die Agyptische Helena with
Deborah Voigt; both recorded on Telarc.
As a young artist with The Juilliard Opera Center, Miss Mesic studied with
Beverley Johnson, appeared as the 'Sandmann' in the Live from Lincoln Center
Television Broadcast of Hansel und Gretel and participated in
master classes with Marilyn Horne and Joan Sutherland.
She also studied with Patricia Misslin at The Crane School
of Music, and traveled with Rene Fleming who became
her teacher and mentor.

Emily Howard -
Mezzo Soprano Emily Howard's voice has been described as "extraordinarily beautiful"
and her singing style as "sensitive, subtle, and supple" (The Shelter Island Reporter).
An unusually versatile artist,
she sings many different genres and styles with equal
intelligence and ability. Opera wise,
she has sung dramatically high flying roles such as Azucena in
Il Trovatore (Di Capo Opera,
Verismo Opera of New Jersey) and Baba in The Medium (Liederkranz Society)
as well as comic tour de forces such as Katisha in
The Mikado (New York Gilbert and Sullivan Players) In addition,
she has sung musical theater roles such as Golde and Fruma Sara
in Fiddler on the Roof and has appeared as a soloist with several jazz combos.
Because of her vocal versatility and her razor sharp musicianship,
she is a favorite of composers and has proudly premiered many operatic
roles and song cycles by New York composers.
In 2004 she premiered the role of Fran Flight in Sorrel Hays' The Bee Opera,
with which she toured Germany,
Latvia and Holland in 2005.
She is featured on two recent recordings of new works;
Works of Michael Rose 2001-2004,
and The Chamber Music of Jim Lahti in which she is featured with
the acclaimed Omni Ensemble with whom she also has had the privilege
of performing Schoenberg's masterwork Pierrot Lunaire
Ms Howard has enjoyed a number of personal firsts in the past few years,
including her first assignment at The Metropolitan Opera,
as a cover for Schwertleite in Die Walküre and her Carnegie Hall
debut as the alto soloist in the Mozart Coronation Mass with the
New England Symphony.
She also made her City Center debut with the New York Gilbert and Sullivan
players in the aforementioned Mikado for which she was hailed as
"the most vocally impressive" in a Theater Mania review.
She was also thrilled to be able to sing for Ex President
Bill Clinton and Senator Hillary Clinton at Riverside Church in August of 2004.
She sang the Laudamus Te from the Mozart Mass in c Minor for which she
received an enthusiastic bravo and thumbs up from Mr. Clinton.
Originally trained as an actress, Ms Howard returns occasionally to straight drama.
In 2003, she played the role of Mrs. Peachum in Vaclav Havel's
version of The Beggar's Opera for which she and her cast members
received the 2003 Off Off Broadway Theater Review Award.
She also works as a stage director and a writer. Recently, she was hired
to produce and direct a Dido and Aeneas at Brooklyn Conservatory that played
to sold out crowds. In 2005 she was commissioned by composer Michael Rose
to write the libretto for his opera Ugetsu which will go into production in 2007.

Robert K Garner -
Baritone Robert Garner has been routinely recognized for his vocal
artistry and dramatic intensity. Recent engagements for Mr. Garner
include Papageno in The Magic Flute for Fargo-Moorhead Opera, Dr.
Falke in Die Fledermaus for Dayton Opera, and Count Almaviva in Le
Nozze di Figaro for Union Avenue Opera of St. Louis.
Other career highlights include: Ford in Falstaff for Mississippi
Opera and Opera Southwest; Marcello in La Bohème for Mississippi Opera
and Opera Roanoke; Ping in Turandot with Anchorage Opera, Valentin in
Faust and Germont in La Traviata for Opera Colorado, Silvio in
Pagliacci for Boheme Opera N.J. and Dicapo Opera; Harlekin in Ariadne
auf Naxos with Union Avenue Opera; Mercutio in Romeo et Juliette for
Opera Carolina and Connecticut Opera; Belcore in L'Elisir d'Amore for
Dicapo Opera, and Prince Paul in La Grande Duchesse de Gerolstein for
L'Opera Français de New York opposite Stephanie Blythe.
In concert, his career highlights have included his Carnegie Hall
debut in Faure's Requiem, Orff's Carmina Burana with Carolina Ballet,
Bach's Coffee Cantata with Reading Symphony Orchestra, and his Alice
Tully Hall debut as Sir Tobia Mill in Rossini's La Cambiale di
Matrimonio.
Mr. Garner received his Bachelor of Music degree in Vocal Performance
from the University of Alabama. In competition, he was a New York
district winner for the Metropolitan Opera National Auditions, he is a
past winner of the Friedrich Schorr Memorial Prize for Vocal
Performance, and won 3^rd place in the 2005 Giulio Gari Foundation
vocal competition. Upcoming this Fall, Mr. Garner will perform the
title role of Don Giovanni with Taconic Opera.

Frederick Frey -
is acclaimed by critics and audiences alike wherever, whenever, and
whatever he performs. His musicality, sensitivity and impassioned
dramatic style excite audiences throughout North America and Europe.
He has performed such works as Verdi’s Un ballo in Maschera with Kristian
Johannsson, Gounod’s Roméo et Juliette with Gail Robinson and Eric Halvforson,
Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro and Puccini’s La Rondine with Faith Esham,
the roles of Faust and Dr. Marianus in Schumann’s Szenen aus Goethe’s Faust
with Barbara Daniels in Graz, Wagner’s Tristan und Isolde with
George Grey and Jerome Hines. He has performed in
Puccini’s Tosca with Thomas Conlin and David Bamberger,
Strauss’ Elektra with Barry Busse and Christian Badea conducting
and Otello with Pablo Elvira, Maria Spacagna and James King.
Mr. Frey has gained a reputation and expertise in 20th century operatic
roles as well. These include the role of Colon, in the World Premiere
performance of Antonio Braga’s 1492 at the Teatro Nacional in
Santa Domingo, the role of James Fergus in the World Premiere
performance of Eric Funk’s Pamelia at Carnegie Hall,
and in March, 2001, the roles of District Attorney Frederick Katzman
and Samuel Stratton in the World Premiere production of the opera
Sacco and Vanzetti by composer and conductor Anton Coppola at
the Tampa Bay Opera.
He presently serves on the voice faculty of New Jersey City University
and The County College of Morris.

Yeonjune Suh -
has appeared in concerts and opera productions throughout
the world, including the Italian cities of Milano, Bergamo, Bari,
Tocco dei Casauria and Taranto, Sicilia, as well as Seoul, El Paso,
and New York. Ms. Suh recently graduated from Mannes The New School
for Music in New York City, where she was accepted in the Opera
Program under the direction of Joseph Colaneri. She also holds
degrees from the prestigious Sunwha Art Middle and High School,
Roosevelt University, and the conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi in Milan.
Ms. Suh recently returned from Texas, where she participated in the
El Paso Young Artist Program as Papagena in Mozart's "The Magic
Flute." She has also been a finalist in the Harold Haugh Light Opera
Competition and Camillo de Nardis Competition, and has received
third prize in the Mario Lanza Competition as well as an encouragement
grant from from the Gerda Lisner Foundation. Her current teachers
are Patricia McCaffrey and Kevin Murphy of the Metropolitan Opera.

Marcelo Guzzo -
In 2009, Marcelo Guzzo's career began to rise when he sang Alfio in concert performances of Cavalleria Rusticana with Andrea Bocelli and Veronica Villarroel at the San Antonio Opera, which led to him being engaged for the same role opposite Chiara Taigi at the Taormina Festival in Italy after which he traveled to Tel Aviv to sing Germont in Traviata In 2010 he sang Sharpless in Madama Butterfly with the Dallas Opera and the Count in Le Nozze di Figaro at the Teatro Solis in Uruguay. He makes his Lyric Opera of Kansas City debut in 2010 as Escamillo in Carmen and will make his Hawaii Opera debut in 2011 in a new production of Les Pechateur de perles as Surga. and The Count in Le Nozze di Figaro in Detroit Opera and World premier of De Deo at New York City Opera Vox concerts.
Previous engagements have included Marcello in La Boheme with the Princeton Festival and Fresno Opera., Enrico in Lucia di Lammermoor with Syracuse Opera, Opera de Puerto Rico and Tel Aviv. Marcelo Guzzo made his debut at Lincoln Center's Alice Tully Hall in the fall of 2004 as a guest artist in the Puccini Foundation. He has been heard at the Theater La Plata in Argentina singing Marcello in La Boheme, and in his native Uruguay singing Escamillo in Carmen with the Sodre Lyric Opera, Pilate in Jesus Christ Superstar with the Sodre Symphony Orchestra and, most recently, he performed a solo concert at the Holland Center in Omaha, Nebraska.
Mr Guzzo attended the Mannes College of Music in New York where he sang Germont in La Traviata, and the title roles of Don Giovanni and Gianni Schicchi. Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Mr Guzzo graduated from the National Lyric Arts School and is hailed as one of the most outstanding Uruguayan singers of his generation being declared the “Best Uruguayan Lyric Voice of 2001” at the Giuseppe Verdi International Singing Competition. He has performed in numerous concerts and recitals throughout Uruguay, France, Spain, Italy and the United States.

Jorge Arcila -
Venezuelan Bass-baritone Jorge Arcila is also a professor of
French and Italian diction. Mr.Arcila studied at the Jose Angel Lamas Conservatoire
in Caracas. He was Professor of Diction and Style at the IUDEM
(University of Musical Studies). He has appeared in many opera seasons
of thr Teatro Teresa Carreno in Venezuela and with the Florida Grand
Opera. Among his diverse roles are Leporello, Don Alfonso, Dulcamara,
Don Bartolo, and Ferrando. He will be heard this season at Amato
Opera as Mephistopheles, Leporello and Angelotti and with State
Repertory Opera as Dulcamara.

Katy Sumrow -
Mezzo-soprano Katy Sumrow was born in Gdansk, Poland.
At an early age, she received a full music scholarship to
the Chopin School of Music. Upon
graduating she signed a contract with the
Warsaw Philharmonic Choir and toured
through Spain and Germany. Ms. Sumrow
performed in the Polish Requiem with
Leonard Bernstein and Liv Ullman at the
Teatr Wielki in Warsaw on International
television. Ms. Sumrow's repertoires as a
Soloist include Baroque, Opera, Jazz,
Spiritual and Broadway. Ms. Sumrow is a
founding member of THE BAROQUE
ENSEMBLE BUCCINA CANTORUM and has
recorded a CD "Music of the Italian
Baroque".
